Clinician Andrew Neilson, CJF

Andrew Neilson, CJF, is a second-generation farrier who has been shoeing for 20 years. He mainly shoes three-day eventers, jumpers, and steeplechase horses. Andrew has been competing with the World Championship Blacksmiths for 8 years and was a qualifying WCB Cat 2 team member. He is a two-time match play champion and overall champion at the WCB Madison, Wisconsin, 2019. Now, stepping back from competing, Andrew enjoys judging contests and giving clinics on horseshoeing and shoemaking. Andrew’s main area of business is Southern Chester County in Southeastern Pennsylvania, though he also travels to South Carolina and Florida during the winter.
